NATURAL PSYCHEDELIA
Natural Psychedelia es una serie que parte de la observación directa del paisaje y de cómo sus elementos más comunes pueden transformarse mediante intervenciones digitales sutiles. Trabajo con materiales naturales —flores, piedras, raíces, ramas— y utilizo ajustes cromáticos y pequeñas distorsiones para modificar su comportamiento visual sin romper su origen.Estas operaciones generan imágenes donde lo natural se desplaza hacia lo abstracto: surgen patrones, ritmos y estructuras que mantienen una relación con la materia real, pero producen una percepción distinta. Me interesa esa frontera donde la imagen sigue siendo naturaleza, pero empieza a comportarse de otra manera.El proyecto invita a reconsiderar cómo percibimos lo natural cuando cambia su organización visual. Actualmente estoy explorando cómo llevar estas transformaciones al gran formato para ampliar la experiencia espacial de la obra.
Natural Psychedelia is a series developed from direct observation of the landscape and how its most familiar elements can shift through subtle digital interventions. I work with natural materials—flowers, stones, roots, branches—and use chromatic adjustments and slight distortions to alter their visual behaviour without breaking their origin.These operations produce images where natural forms move toward the abstract: patterns, rhythms and structures appear that remain connected to real matter but generate a different perception. I’m interested in that threshold where the image is still nature, yet begins to behave in another way.The project invites a reconsideration of how we perceive natural elements when their visual organisation changes. I am currently exploring how to bring these transformations into larger formats as the next step in the development of the work.
